Jim is
currently the Bagpipe Instructor at
Fairfield Scarlet Brigade High School Pipe
Band. A native of Belfast Northern Ireland, Jim
began piping at the age of 12.
He Immigrated to California when he was in his teens, and played with many Pipe Bands in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Jim launched his solo piping in the nineties and was the piper at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Half Moon Bay until 9/11.
Jim is retired and resides in beautiful Sonoma.

Some of the many Highlights in his piping career,is playing on the Carnival cruise ship, during amateur night, also piping with the Organ at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco.
One special (request) Jim and his wife returning all the way to Ireland in order to pipe at his cousin’s wedding.
